The Ford Raptor SVT paper model was made for Truck Pro USA so all enthusiasts can get their hands (okay, maybe one hand at a time) on an awesome Ford Raptor.
Here’s How You Can Have A New (Paper) Raptor Today!
Visit the link here to fill out the information and get your printout.
What You’ll Need:
- Printer with Ink
- Heavy Weight Paper
- Black Marker
When you have the printer loaded up with card stock paper, print out your template and allow the ink to dry (it might take a little longer than printing a letter!) -- then it’s all a matter of following the included instructions, folding, cutting, and attaching.
This is a fun project for all enthusiasts and is easy enough to keep your little Ford enthusiasts (or your inner child) entertained for a while. After you get yours put together, feel free to do multi-terrain and durability tests -- after all, it’s a lot cheaper to flip or sink a paper version than the real thing!
What is the Ford SVT Raptor?
In 2010, Ford first introduced the SVT Raptor as a F-150 dedicated for off-road use. The automaker gave this special edition many features to improve its ability to handle the great outdoors. It was introduced with modifications that included full FOX shocks that have over 11” of suspension travel in the front and over 12” in the back. The body of the SVT Raptor is wider than the standard F-Series trucks -- the Raptor also misses the famous Ford blue-oval emblem on the grille and has “FORD” instead.
Beginning in 2011, a four door SuperCrew lift kit Raptor was made available in addition to the SuperCab model. The Raptor has a monstrous 6.2L V8 engine that makes 411 horsepower that is backed by a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Since then, Ford has been selling the Raptor to the most hardcore off-road enthusiasts. This model has a cult following and has inspired many to visit life off the beaten path.
