See This 1969 Ford Bronco That Has Been Transformed Into an Off-Road Beast

While we’re over the moon Ford brought back the Bronco, these old modded-out Broncos will always have our heart. This custom-built 1969 Bronco has been catapulted to the present.  One of the top 10 we've seen for sure.

RMD Garage (yes, that RMD Garage) built this Bronco and featured it in one of their episodes, which is titled Urban Madness. They added a whole bunch of cool modern upgrades and turned the vehicle into a stunning custom SEMA build.

Here are some of the most notable upgrades on this Bronco:

The Tough And Rugged Frame & Body

Our jaws literally dropped when we saw the bodywork on this Bronco. The matte military green exterior goes really well with the dark shadow gray accents. We also noticed the custom grille, which looks much tougher and more appealing than the original ’69 Bronco grille, in our opinion.

RMD Garage transformed this Bronco into an off-road beast with the Go Rhino front and rear bumpers, Go Rhino running boards, custom roll cage, and WARN winch. These upgrades are so great that we’re confident that the vehicle is well equipped to take on any off-road trail.

Other notable custom upgrades to the frame and body are:

  • Cut-down steel doors
  • Handcrafted hood
  • LED lights surrounding the entire vehicle
  • Headlights and taillights

The Off-Road Ready Interior

Judging by the interior alone, even the biggest Bronco fan probably wouldn’t even realize that the vehicle is nearly 50 years old. While RMD Garage kept an incredibly faint hint of the old design (more specifically, the glove compartment, door panel handles, and the shape of the dash), they completely overhauled the interior. Even though we’re big fans of vintage Broncos, we still love the new interior.

The leather seats, the carpet, and the custom steering wheel are made for off-roading. RMD Garage really amped up the comfort and convenience factor with these new features, along with:

  • Custom sPOD lighting system
  • Digital gauges in the dash
  • New Bluetooth Kicker audio system
  • Chrome shifter knobs

With the decked-out interior, it’s hard to come up with more ways to make it even more comfortable during a trip off the beaten path. If you’re worried about this Bronco’s ride quality, you shouldn’t be. RMD Garage also treated it to a bunch of performance-related upgrades.

Performance-Related Upgrades

You might be wondering if this 1969 Bronco runs as well as it did nearly 50 years ago. We have good reasons to believe that it runs and drives even better than it ever did. The reasons are as follows:

  • Custom Borla exhaust system
  • Custom throttle-body induction system
  • Front disc brake conversions
  • M/T Toyo Open Country tires
  • Custom painted monster wheels
  • Skyjacker suspension system

It appears that RMD Garage kept the original 302 V8 engine and the 4-speed manual transmission. Judging by the photos, it looks like these parts have been well maintained. This vehicle’s mileage is listed as 11 miles.

With these extensive upgrades, this Bronco’s days are definitely not numbered.
